New age STi interior in a classic STi?
Hi,
Anyone had experience of fitting a newage interior into a Classic STi? I am looking to get this done sometime in the future and wanted to know what issues to expect.
Thanks in advance,
Fz

I fitted the newage interior into my classic, from memory the interior came out of a 2006 STI.
Front seats went in no problems, you do sit higher though, but ive got used to it and dont mind it, I think if you were maybe 6'2 plus it could be an issue.
The back seat also went in with no problems at all, didnt take very long at either, took me a just over an hour to remove original seats then fit new ones.
The only issue you will have is the rear seat comes up just slightly higher then the original, basically you can see the foam on the back of the seat so its worth covering it with some type of material.
Oh and it could just be me but I swear my rear bench seat is a few inches shorter then the original classic rear seat, seems to be more of a gap between the seat and rear door cards, but it still looks good though.
Really glad that I sourced the newage interior, would recommend doing it!
Cheers
