Default Button on the Steering Column

Hey Guys, I have no owners manual and only had my scooby a few days.. I have a button on the steering column where some cars have hazard light's.. it looks like a TV with wiskers on each corner.. switch it and its red.. what is this for??? dont seem to do anything....

Its 2001 WRX if that helps...

Guess might be handy if I can purchase a owners manual / pack... anyone know where I can get one... I am guessing subaru will charge an arm and a leg??

Cheers

Ian

My UK car has one there, but not red. It's for parking lights. Press it, and the lights stay on when you switch off the engine.

If I had a penny for everyone I've replied to on here asking why their lights won't go off, after they've accidentally pressed it, I'd have about £8
