Ok, I have some questions on this...

- Has anyone have an accident with the wheel changed and airbag wired up, and the airbag has deployed correctly? I've been reading previous post on this and some people say although the light goes out, it will not work correctly.

- Does the wiring have any polarity? My new wheel came without the wiring loom, so either I search one from a scrapyard or I get one new at Subaru (probably very expensive)

On the future I will be planning a 4 point harness, so I don't really need the airbag. But until then, if I have it... i will be more confortable if I know it will work correctly.

DO NOT FIT NEWAGE (+01) AIRBAGS ONTO CLASSIC CARS(pre 01), THEY WERE NOT DESIGNED FOR IT!! In some cases your injuries will be worse with the wrong airbag rather than just a seatbelt due to the tuning differences of the airbag bewteen the older and newer cars.

Your Insurance company must also be told of this change, as it invalidates your claim for personal injury. Better to remove all together that go down this route. Please consider this before purchasing!! Just making people aware of the facts!
Stay safe.
