Default disconnecting heater controls - newage

Bought polished heater controls to replace the 3 black plastic circular controls for operating the heater.

Stripped dash down and got to the black box that holds the controls, took off the back panel and came to a circuit board and wasn't too keen to go any further for fear of knackering something, tried to take off front panel but circular controls stop this from being removed.

Is it just brute force to replace them or am I missing something??
