Question

Got a boost gauge to fit to a MY01. Had a look tonight to see where the boost gauge piping would connect to under the bonnet. On the MY99 i had there was a spare outlet on top of the inlet manifold that you could use, but on the MY01 i cant see one.

Is there one hidden that i couldnt see or do you have to Tee into an original hose and if so which one?

Thanks in advance

My guys Tee them into the hose that feeds the fuel pressure regulator. This is what the instructions say to use.

Incidentally, for an 01 car, ignore the location mentioned in the instructions and fit it on the right hand side of the column. That way you can still see the outside temp guage.

thats what the instructions say pete but i've fitted two guage packs now and the picture in the instructions shows the pipe that goes to the valve on the intercooler. never seem to have had a problem with it there, i think the japs translator must have had to much saki or summit the night before!
