Default auto window switch question

Hi,

Car is MY02 STI. The drivers window has an auto button.

In theory, can I buy some more auto switches and change them over from the standard ones ?

not bothered about auto rear windows, just want to know if swapping the switch over does the trick.

They should have single touch up as well as down on cars too with maybe a pressure sensor to prevent them trapping a limb it keeps your hand on the wheel so it must be a safety feature

I know it's french, but the window switches on my old 306 GTi 6 had different types of loom to each one.
The auto switch, had two small multi plugs on it, and the manual had one multi plug. The double mutli plug had a small loom attached to a relay board to switch the window off when it was up, or down.
In theory, its possible to duplicate the wiring, but a huge pain in ***.

I asked this ages ago but dont think anyone has tried it - it does my head in having to keep your finger on the switch for the passenger side window
