My driver's seat foam is wearing. I'd like to swap the seats left to right. Is this possible? I saw in this thread:

that you could swap foam and keep the bases where they are (obviously sided). Anyone know if you can swap the backs too?

I think you can take the subframe of the seat base and swap them over but you need to take the back of the seats off as well because of the reclining handle.

So can you clarify - do I swap the whole backs left to right, or have to keep the subframe where it is and move the foam and covers? I haven't opened them up yet, so not sure if the back frame can be removed from the base frame.

Bottom line - can I end up with all the working bits - handles, seat belt clip on the correct side but swap the seat and back foam and covers side to side?

Bruce you can take the form and cover off the seats frames,a bit fiddly but can be done in stead of taking the seat out.
