Talking STI Seats and Airbag Dash Light.

I have just fitted STI seats into my 05MY WRX, I now have the airbag light on the dash board lit constantly.

Am I correct in understanding that placing a resistor in the lead left under the seat will turn this off ??

And am I also correct in understanding the required resistor is a 3.3K Ohm ??
( Hope so as I took some from work the other day )

Cheers
Mark.

Cheers for that,

What value resistor did you use ??
I have now found people on here 3.3 ohm not 3.3K Ohm

I fitted the 3.3K Ohm ones I *cough* borrowed from work and the light didn't go out

3.3K Ohms = 3300 ohms as oppose to 3.3 Ohms.

Cheers for that though, I had been told the wrong value
