Double din conversion to single din fascia
Hi,
Anybody know where I can get a quality fascia plate to convert from original Japanese double din head unit to a single din unit?
Also I have the original Addzest rear speakers in the rear shelf. It looks like I can fit larger speakers as there appears to be a spacer. Is this correct? If so, what size of speaker can I fit in?
Thanks very much!!
Nick

Hi Nick,
Hope this response answers your question.. in my 04 wrx the previous owner has a single din blaupunkt head unit fitted and he told me the only solution he found was actually through subaru dealer.. in the form of the CD holder that fills the void nicely. It actually looks the dogs and as is genuiine subaru part & looks like it was always meant to be that way.. much better then a blanking plate that destroys look of dash..

Thanks Steve,
My WRX is slightly older! It's a 1996 V.2 model! I'll give my local Subaru dealer a ring and find out! Thanks very much!
