Has anyone fitted competition seats in an impreza ??

I have got to fit two Cobra seats however the GT width seat is right on the line width wise and may be a little too wide.

Would you modify the tunnel down the centre of the car (prop shaft) in order to make them fit ??? or try another approach ?

This concerns me minty as I have two GT width seats being delivered tomorrow!

How are/were you thinking of attaching them? I have bought side mounts and was going to get the fitting firm to weld cross bars to the floor and bolt the side mounts onto those...havent seen the seats yet though.
