Default Nardi\Momo steering wheel question...

I have bought a Momo millenium wheel which I want to put on my 96 import wrx.
I have removed the middle section of the current Nardi wheel (which im assuming is standard) and revealed one 17mm bolt in the centre. Ive removed this but it still wont budge. I cant find any other screws. Shall I just give it some welly or is there anything else holding it in.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Put the nut back on loosely before you "give it some welly", when it does let go, you could end up with a face full of steering wheel!
