problems fitting aluminium gear surround

problems fitting aluminium gear surround
read some good instructions on here on how to do it so have followed them to a tee. The only problem is the allen head screws are too short to clear both the alum. surround and the gear stick gaitor plastic. Anyone had this problem and do you know where i can get longer allen head screws from?????
