My MY03 WRX seems to have developed an annoying rattle which appears to to coming from the top of the rear seat touching the metalwork of the parcel shelf. I can easily see and have taken out the base and saw the 3 or 4 bolts that hold the back part in place. Are there any bolts or suchlike at the top of the back of the seat near where the armrest folds down. I need to put some padding or something in there because it is driving me mad unless I've got the radio on.
Thanks,
Andy

I had a similiar rattle on my MY04 when i picked it up. I actually replaced the seats with STI ones and the rattle didn't disappear. But after i took the the jack handle (clipped under the wooden false floor in the boot) in and out it went away, so it was either the false floor not clipped in properly or the handle. I've never heard it since
