Want to fit power to my Detector via the power into the Clock on the dash rather than the lighter socket (for mobile charger) on my MY01 WRX. Bet its the same as the "classic" shape as well......

Anyone know how the centre console that you can fit gauges into (it has the clock in it at the mo) comes out. I can get the back end (windscreen end) up - but the front doesnt want to budge!!!

There must be a knack... anyone???

Pull the back end up and then slide your fingers in the two sides...gradually sort of slide your fingers towards the front applying upward pressure by pushing up in staggered movements until you're round by the front and sort of pull it up if that makes sense, it's only clips so don't worry about breaking anything coz you won't.

If that makes sense
