Takes a bit of force but it will just twist off.
Some gaitors are a bit 'floppy' and won't stay up. Others are fine.
Worse comes to the worse, you'll see a plastic bit that holds up the gaitor at the bottom of the gear ****.
You can either cut this off, and glue it to the new ****, or you can buy the plastic bit from Graham Goode.

Paul,
I have no problem admitting I both my previous Momo **** from Halfords. Leather Cobra. I got a deal!!!
My current Momo Combat (silver) one was from Demon Tweeks.
Although I may replace that one with a Nitosport one when I get my interior done!!
Andy
