Carbon Fibre Interior
#1
Where can I get in the U.K. a Carbon fibre interior kit for my 4 door '97 Model ? Does anyone know if they're still made, alternatively I may go for brushed aluminium. And, ..... sorry about this, what's the best steering wheel to go for. I've only just bought the car, and any info on it would be much appreciated.

I have just spoken to Graham goode racing about the brushed aluminium kit for the MY95 impreza and was quoted 190 odd quid. I am thinking of going for the heat shrinkable aluminium film you can buy from halfords. Has anyone used this stuff before, if so is it any good?
PS.

Seen some pictures of the brushed aluminium dash kit, it looks good but can anybody give me a contact. A previous post said Car Connoisseur offered this for around £120 but cannot find the mag on the shelves at present. Any ideas.

I seem to remember one of the dealers who advertise in True Grip are selling dash kits off for cheap (£75-95??). From memory, I think it "might" be Revolution, I can always have a look when I get home,

I'm not speaking about any of the kits you've mentioned in particular but some of these things look really tacky.I saw one in aScooby once and parts of it were beginning to peel around the edges and it looked awful. The only person who sells a proper kit is Nito.On the other hand you can do what the rest of us do when we get fed up with the interior,do something to the car to make it faster so you c'ant take your eyes off the road long enough to notice the interior!!!!!! Good luck

I have recentley had my scooby interior painted platinum sliver by a mate who is a sprayer and interior specialist He removed every piece of trim seperately to ensure a good finnish.
The whole process took about 5 hours because
the trim surround on the centre vents/fan
controls was a pain in the **** to remove and
reassemble, but the final result was well worth it. I will try to post some pics later.
