It _is_ a turbo but he's currently waiting for a new engine to arrive from Ingolstadt:

Audi TT225 engine + Garrett Hybrid Turbo+ Front Mount Intercooler, custom manifold,Quaife 6-speed gearbox and LSD?

Apparently it'll have about 320+bhp going through the front wheels

Has your mate ever wondered why Saab, Ford, VW dont put more 200BHP through the front wheels ????, Saab tried 230bhp and it was undriveable. Just a thought.

Paul,

Nah. Know a Corolla with over 300bhp through the front wheels. Drives fine, but at a push can wheelspin in 4th

Engine is currently out of this car and heading to 400bhp. That should be a giggle.

Cheers

Ian

My first comment to him was 'torque-steer' but he reckons the diff should help.

I reckon on a wet road, at night, I'd still rather be in the RB5 and after a few weeks scaring the sh*t out of himself, he may too!!
