Wink

I've got the Nokia kit.

Auto mute is great, the mike is up by the mirror aerial middle top of the rear window - neat job all round.

I also got a little stubby aerial instead of the standard one.

Mine was installed by Vodafone corporate who were crap - it took them 3 attempts before the installer turned up with the relay to do the auto mute. I wouldn't let them do the rest with a promise to come back - I just sent them away again the first 2 times.

Hi ,
I have installed my handsfree kit on my own for my Nokia 7110.It was quite easy!
At the time i had the 602??
I have problems upgrading my phone as I need to have the right handsfree connection via phone and cradle.
BE WARNED!!!
When you change your phone I made the mistake of getting a non-compatible phone, even when it was a nokia, so I had to change the WHOLE handsfree kit, not just the cradle.
Lucky I got the kit cheap.
Follow what Andy says and you cannot go wrong with the mute.
Regards
G.

Kryten,

I may be able to help you there!!!

I had an 8210, again no car kit, but they do a go between.

A speaker that plugs into the lighter socket and the base of the phone, and it amplifies the standard microphone. So i had a windscreen holder for the phone, and using this Nokia gizmo it was as good as a car kit, and only cost £55!!!

Hope this helps
Andy

PS - I have one spare if you want to make me an offer on it!!!
