Just fitted a phantom air/fuel ratio gauge, i'm not sure if it is working correctly. The led's flicker about quite randomly at idle and steady running, when on boost the led's are steady green in the rich sector. If anyone has fitted one of these can you let me know if this is right.

Cool

That seems perfectly normal Si since the car is running closed loop at idle and light throttle therefore the std ecu is constantly going rich/lean/rich/lean, basically the sensors see it's running rich so self compensate by going lean and then realise it's lean so go rich etc..this happens many times a second! I had the select monitor plugged into my car and it did the same thing!

HTH

Hi guys, my phantom did the same but now idles on "stoich" Amber
and when boosting reads one bar Amber and another bar up flicking Amber
. Obviously not ideal , but what would cause this and how could I fix it? Plugs haven't been changed in a while , would it be them?

Cheers in advance.

Dave.
