Is there a thermometer accessory for the dashboard? With all this cold weather recently I thought it would be a good thing to fit. Any ideas any one?

Cheers, Chris

Autoexpress did a review on in car thermometers, it was a while ago, the results aren't on the website and I must have thrown out my copy, you could try ringing them for a back copy on 01454 642499

I got my MY00 Scooby a few months ago and have had fitted a VDODayton CD2200 ICE system which includes a built in temp display with the optional sensor. Works well but if the sensor is located in the engine bay (like mine is) shows 30c reading when at a standstill on the M40 in January. When moving the reading is fine -2c on M40 in January at 6:30am. Also has lotts of nice extra features like a speed warning system. Check out

The new WRX comes with one as standard and I have to say it is useful.

On a couple of journeys, I have seen the temp drop from 5degC to -1degC.

Cossetted inside the car, on a motorway trip, it gives a clear warning of a potentially dangerous change in conditions.
