Rattling under driving seat

Forgive me if this is something that has been asked before 
, but I have only had my Scoobie (98 STi IV)a few months and have only just found this BBS. I am getting a rattling under the drivers seat as though there is something flying around in the bodywork every time I go round a corner. Is this something that is common and how can you get out what is causing this noise?

Hi Rob B,
Had a similar problem on a customer's car a while back,assumed that something was in the sill panel.Turned out one of his kids had dropped a marble under the seat and it had got through the hole under the O/S seat.
You never know
,maybe something as silly as that.
