Does anybody have any info on the bracket that fits onto the radio fixing?
I have tried Carphone Warehouse et al but normal response is no we dont do one, but we can fit you a kit! Yep i really want to put 3 or 4 screw holes in the side of the centre console dont i.Residuals are already falling so not a good idea.
Any help much appreciated (need kit for Ericson T28s)

Most/all car kit installers have a bracket that can be used if you dont want visible holes on the interior of your car. They usually take the glove box out and attach it through there, put the glove box back in, and no visible holes !

Pete,
I've got the Nokia kit so may not apply, but when I had the kit installed the guy used a braket for a Vauxhall Astra and it fits in next to the head unit. Not bad but make sure you check that it is not rubbing against the dash as this leave marks (I know and have used some foam to stop it). Also check the screws they use to mount to kit to the bracket as the ones they used on mine were too long and I've got the marks to prove it (Ooo err).
I also had the speaker attached to the foot rest as it seemed the best place, and now means I can rest my foot (not that I've got big feet just wide shoes )
