Exclamation

I've recently bought a 96 Impreza Turbo which has really good front seats (not the standard type - different trim colour), I want to know who made them...

They are all in one seats (headrest is built in) made in black fabric with suede patches on the base and side of the seats the sides of the seats flare out at shoulder level, and they are very supportive.

Someone has just told me that they are Prodrive seats, is this true???

I will get a picture of them tomorrow if required.

Stuart

Prodrives seats usually have Prodrive embroidered on them, and usually Recaro as well. They may be from a much later model year car, maybe 22B or RB5 seats ????

They could have been swapped from an import, or maybe a 're-covered' seat itself?!?!

My WRX MY96 has seats as you describe with black cloth and grey fake suede(alcantra). The rear seats have the same trim.

I've been looking into this in some detail, as I don't like the standard Turbo seats, as I was used to a proper RECARO in my '86 Escort Turbo.

Take a look at the
