Does the gear **** just unscrew? My current MGF has a Momo **** which matches the Scooby steering wheel, so I would like to move it from the F to the Scooby when it arrives.

Your scoob gear **** should just unscrew as normal, whole lot in one go.
The Momo one I have fitted is fixed by little grub screws securing the main part of the **** to the stick, with a screw-up collar to make all things neat n tidy. If yours is like that, it should be no problem.
