Hi,
Has anyone ever tried to change/spice up an interior for one of the earlier Imprezas??? I want to change the door pocket cloth trim to leather or something, but don't want to spend high Prodrive prices for their interior package. (Although seats do look great!). Any ideas??
Anyone ever tried their hand at making leather covers for the earlier version seats too??

Be a bit wary on taking items such as seats from a written off Impreza (poor thing), as they may have induced crash damage. When we test seats in crash conditions at work, you will be surprised to see how much damage or weakening the subframes go through during any sort of impact.
If the seats are totally undamaged visually, check how the car crashed. If it was a heavy frontal or side impact, get new subframes or walk away.
Also check condition of the seatbelt buckle if located on the seat subframe. Chances are it could also be weakened.
If none of the above apply, then buy! Sorry to be a bit morbid but safety is certainly a priority in a car as quick as the Impreza!

I managed to get hold of some decent quality leather, so I aming to geta quote for the side pockets only at present. I'll let you know what the damage is when I see them.
Rather fancied some of those Sparco seats instead of a recovering the old types.
Anyone tried them out???

Had a local firm check out the side pockets, but they were unsure if they could get them back together with the leather coating. Not sure what to do yet.
Anyone got a spare old trim panel they want rid of?? Worth a bodge.....
