If you need a new key for an imobilser system car does anyone have any idea of cost ?

Do a search for this..from memory its well expensive £47 rings a bell ???

Hey Guys !
This is amazing! - My local dealer says £10 for a key, but 5-7 days to arrive ! BUT then 1.5 hours to programme the key for the immobiliser @ £35 per hr coming to a total of about £60 + VAT for the key! Can anyone believe 1.5 hrs programming a key !!!!!!!!!!!

There is a nice section in the guide to the imobilser that came with my MY99 telling you how to program the key. It looks like it should take all of about 2 mins. That is if you can manager to use those silly little buttons!!
