Default Steering wheel change

Just wondering, on my '95 mcrae i have the bolshie plasticy feeling steering wheel with airbag and want to change it. The momo steering wheels on sti's etc look good and they too have an airbag. Is it possible to get a steering wheel like this and changing it over in mine?????? anyone help?

Haven't done this myself, but, from what's said on here, I believe it's possible. Think you'll need to alter the airbag wiring slightly though. If you do a search, there have been detailed threads on this subject recently. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you start, to avoid accidental triggering of the airbag....peoples opinions on how long for vary, but I've had the airbagged wheel off mine on several occasions ( twice today! ), normally give it half an hour before attacking the wheel, never had a problem.
