Question Armrest extension

Hi,

Do anyone of you gentlemen (and ladies of course) know where (in the UK perhaps) you can buy an armrest extension for a WRX STI 03. I have seen several in the US but they are not very eager to ship overseas (to Sweden) so i thought it would be best to buy it within europe. The problem is that i can't find this (Subaru??) part anywhere.

Any advice?

Kind regards

Daniel

Can you get the part number from the US?
Your local dealer might ship it in for you (worth a try)

Smile USDM market

Hi Dyney,

LOL, i will try that but i am sceptical that they can supply me with it. It seems to be an american market item only (!?). Will give it a try. Thanks

regards

Check japanparts.com as I'm pretty sure they can supply them. I considered getting one a few months ago but have to save my pennies for some repairs :-(

Cheers G4RUD,

Contacted my service shop today (for 1500 km service) and asked them about this, but they were clueless (could'nt find it in any parts catalogue). I suspect that it is an american item only. Will check out japanparts. Thanks for the hint.

Kind regards

I'll be able to get this part for you. I just need a few days to tell you the price.

Hi Daniel.

I have news. The arm rest is very expensive (about 230 Euro plus VAT). But Subaru will need about 6 months to get it. And the Subaru dealer told me that the armrest isn't very comfortable because it is hindering you while shifting.

Hi Goe,

J__us,

that was not exactly a "good pricing". Wow, in that case i think i'll just forget the armrest thingy and keep both hands on the steering wheel instead :-)

Thanks heaps for taking the time to check it out. Much appreciated.

Kind regards

Daniel
