Red face SPA EGT probe nut wrong thread for MY02

Anyone fitted the SPA dual gauge with EGT to a new age? I've found the OE sensor has a different (slightly larger and more course) thread to the SPA probe nuts. The SPA fitting has two nuts to clamp onto the probe (thin wire), but the external thread just ain't gunna fit.

HELP!

Do you know what the OE thread is? Out of interest where is the OE sensor located?

Le Mans Motorsport can do adaptors if you tell them the thread sizes.

Question

Hi Stefan m8.

Checked the SPA thread last night, it's a 1/8" NPT taper, but can't confirm the OE sensor thread....as it's a little naff after removing it. The OD of the thread measures .458" (that's on a reasonable part)...which is very strange size. Don't know pitch as no gauges.

Anyone know what the up-pipe OE EGT sensor thread is on 2002 model?

You could PM greasemonkey as he should have access to that sort of info.

Do you know his email address? As it seems I'm not able to view member details.

No I don't, sorry. Best option is either stick up a Personal Message when you find his username or even a new post in general or drivetrain.
