Default Removing Unsightly Warning Stickers on Sun Visors

I’d like to remove the air bag warning stickers that spoil the sun visors of my MY03.
Anybody done or tried this and can it be done without ruining the visor.

Are they a legal requirement?

'Gently' warm them with a hair dryer - they should then just peel off

Tried with the hair dryer this morning. I couldn't even get them started.
I didn't go at it too hard though because I didn't want to damage the visor.
Should I be more persistent?

hairdryer ...are you kidding??? those things look like they're moulded on! If they peel off so easily, then they'll come off if you leave your car in the sun. you'd have a better chance using a blow torch for that sunshine

But yeah they add to the overall cheap plastic look inside the cabin...I don't like them either
