Hard-wiring road angel & Ipaq?
Has anybody permanently wired in the above, i.e. wires down the back of the dash?
I'm fed up of the power and data wires hanging across the stereo front and tapping the dash every time I go over a bump
I've tried to get a slender piece of metal down the inside of the screen but it hits a stop after 1". Ideally I'd like to have the wires coming into the back of the road angel from the winscreen / air vents so they are out of sight.
Is it possible to drill through the screen air vent under the dash / clock pod and feed the wires out of the vent? Has anybody got any piccies of their install?
I've gone back about 2 months in threads but can't find anything as I remember some piccies being posted before
Thanks

Chrissy,
It's not the most elegant of solutions but it'll do for a while...
Now got to see how much of a rattle there is with all the cables stashed under the clock. I've wrapped them in some foam to hopefully deaden the tapping

I like mine positioned centrally as I've had it there so long it's second nature to look if it goes off plus I tend to use it as my speedo rather than the normal one.
I also ran the laser alert up the a-pillar so it sticks behind the rear view mirror (the cable needed extending with 2.5mm stereo jack plugs on each end which were a bit of a rarity when I wanted some ) I'm still a bit cynical about the usefulness of the laser add-on but it might let me know I've been got at some point...
