To all Defi Owners

I have a few questions re fitting.
1) What's the most common place on a Scooby to mount the boost sensor?
2) Do you need sensor attachment for oil temp/oil pressure sensor?
If so, where's the cheapest, and is there a model number I should quote? Thanks

Hi Keigo,
Just waiting to get my Defis from the old man, but i thought you told me that they came with all sensors and attachments, i'm not going to be to happy if i have to be buying fitting attatchments
The boost gauge just fits to a place where there is a blanking tube on the MY99/00 in the middle of the engine.
James.

Hi James,
All senders and leads are included in the package. Just read in the instruction manuals that some cars need sensor attachment for the oil temp and oil pressure, but it's a general manual, so I don't know if that applies to Scooby.

The only fitting you need with Defi's, is an adaptor to allow the oil temperature sender to be screwed into the tapping on top of No3 cylinder.
Boost pipe fits onto an unused, blanked with a rubber top, fitting on the front n/s of the manifold, then the SENDER for it can be mounted wherever: mine sits between the battery and the n/s strut top mount.
All wires were fed through the oval grommet on the bulkhead on the n/s, which pops out, had a cross cut in it, wires fed through, and was popped back.
As noted above, gauges come with senders.
For fitting instructions, try www.chiark.co.uk, and the defi site which gives English translations of the Japanese.
