Steering wheel help...airbag going !

I've searched but cannot locate, a thread from history which gave a step by step guide to changing an Airbag wheel to no AB wheel. Can someone post a link please....particularly covering the way of avoiding the SRS light other than removing bulb !

Here ya go, i think you can get some sort of harness that plugs in and tells the car that the airbag is active but i don't know where you get it from or details- i just put up with mine

Yes that clicky is a link to a thread I started.
I changed mine (all by myself ) If you need any assistance give me a shout. I live with the airbag light on. However I do plan to do a bulb conversion at which point I will remove the aforementioned bulb.
It is quite easy to do so let me know if you need any advice, especially when it comes to getting the horn to work

Ive got the same problem on a MY95 wagon.
Its a uk car with Jap steering wheel and the horn seems difficult to fathom out..

It depends which wires you have remaining that were attached to the old wheel. From memory you are ultimately looking for a single black wire that has a connector one end, which in turn has three wires coming from it and this then connects to the wiring loom which disappears into the dash.
The secret is that from the horn on the wheel there should be two wires. One of these wires needs to be connected to the black wire and the other one needs to be in constant contact with the steering column. This is done by connecting the wire to a brass ?? ring on the back of the steering wheel boss. When the wheel is removed I found there was a spare hole in the plastic around the steering column at about 1 or 2 oclock. I put a long screw in this hole just long enough to touch the brass ring on the back of the steering wheel boss I then fixed the second wire from the horn on the wheel onto the head of this screw with insulation tape (leaving bare wires ontop of the screw. The wires are then trapped between the brass ring and the head of the screw.
Mine has been like that for a couple of months now without issue. i hope the above makes sense.
