TeknoPete (Angus SIDC R.O. in Scotland) supplied me with a custom made pod to fit the early classic scooby. Pete's mould allows a 3 gauge pod to be mounted directly about the centre console and blend into the upper dash. If you visit my rebuild parts webpage you'll see the pod in the car. I chose the pod to have 2 x 52mm holes drilled and one marked for future fitment.
Pete has also just got the materials required to produce more and is hoping the profile of my CAZ1562 project will get him a few orders. You can also see Pete's cockpit here
I know there aren't many people that supply or manufacture these pods so if you have a classic and would like to have a centre pod then I can recommend Pete's attempt.

I second that to! Got mine this week. Just going to spray it up this week and fit it.
Definitely the best thing out their for the earlier classics
Looks part of the car and not an add on

BTW peebs, due to the enquiries I`ve had for these, I`m makin a few more of both these pods ATM if anyone else is looking for them and doesn`t know where to get them. Hmmm somewhere to put all the lurvely gauges your waiting for being delivered from the group buys And no muckin about, these are one of my contributions to the subaru community Like everyone else I was fed up not being able to get what I wanted so just made exactly what I was after (all be it a few years ago)
If u want one drop me a mail

The gauges look good.
Was thinking about putting the three in the passangers side dash board but the centre area above the heater switches looks good caz1562 and different.

I was going to put it in the passengers side dash board but then thought it will be to far to look and watch them
Above the heater controls is ideal!
