Centre pod for 03 - which one?
#1
I've got 52mm gauges to install in my STi and have been considering either the Subaru pod or maybe the Grahame Goode version. To me both look pretty ugly with the Subaru item rather square and the GGR modelled on the Sydney opera house! (and very expensive - typical GGR!)
Has anyone used either and if so I would appreciate comments, and any photo's of them installed would be great.
Cheers guys JohnD

I'm not sure if the Subaru one will accept 52mm gauges actually, as I think the ones they use are 45mm ones.
I've been looking at this over the last couple of weeks, and it seems the only other one available is the "sydney opera house" type one from GGR (via Nitosport??)
I saw one on Scoobymania's website (£80) but that looks the same from what i recall. Doesn't look like there's a lot of options out there.

I'm pretty sure the 52mm won't fit in the Subaru pod as well. Your only real option is the Sydney opera house version. I've got one in my 02Sti and it really does look a LOT better in the flesh that in the pictures (blends in nicely, doesn't obstruct the view, and looks factory fit).

Hi Dave.
They're the normal ones. The black faced range were not available when I had these fitted. I've seen the new back faced ones, and I think I prefer the ones I've got to be honest...
Cheers,
Iain

The white faces do look good, but wouldn't have matched my car. because I've got the prodrive sti, the back of the speedo etc are dark blue, so the black gauges fit in nicely. White would have looke abit silly. If you've got the white backed speedo (like I had in my old my00 turbo), the the white gauges would look great...
