Question

Does anyone know where I can get one of those aluminum gear ***** with STI engraved on it?
For those of you who haven't seen them here is a link www.incaroption.com.au/gearknob%201.jpg
Perhaps the more skilled computer user could post an image up on the board.
They look the pups nuts!

They might look the part, but they're bl**dy uncomfortable! Mine was on about a fortnight...

Hint - look in an old Impreza WRC and see what shape the gearknob is, and what it's made out of!

I still reckon that the original leather **** is as good as anything. Mad, you have to find one with the pink stitching for an STI.

The gear **** in my car does have the pink STI stitching as does the leather momo wheel.
I just think these aluminum one's look the mut's nuts.
I thought it would match the STI pedal set I'm getting.
Can you get them here in the UK? Where from?

Cupraman,

That prodrive one looks the nuts. Seen them for £49.95 at me local dealer, will buy one now.

Was it easy to fit?

I have been using the sti one for ages now - I find it very comfortable. Bit expensive, but worth it

Apologies for hijacking the thread, but my **** twists in my hand (fnarr, fnarr).

Seriously though is there owt I can do to stop it. It's a leather gear ****, attached to the leather sleeve (for want of a better word), so I can't twist it tighter.

I dunno, maybe I'm gripping my **** too hard in all the excitement. There I go again..
...I'll get my coat.

Its just a case of Screwing on. Takes 10 seconds.

Word of warning. Stick the "P" sticker on after you have screwed the **** on

I found that if you wind a little plumbers tape around the thread of the gearlever, there is no chance of it working loose

Mad Gypsy,

Try Graham Goode for your pedals.

and

Taka Kaira for your shift ****.

If you want any advice on ordering from Taka Kaira, give me an email, as I've just bought from them, first class!

Good luck.

Taekwon!
