I am still new to all this, and a little confused.

Can someone tell me exactly how they work, and how hard it is to fit??

The knocklink is easy to fit, can't comment on the lambalink. Both these names are trademarks of Link Systems in Oz.

Basically, the knocklink detects knock (aka det, detonation, pinking). Do a search in google for any of those words and you'll find loads of info on what it is.

The Lambdalink monitors your air/fuel ratio and tells you if you're running rich, lean, or at the stoichiometric level (so called 'perfect' ratio).

Again do a search in google on those terms and it'll explain all you need to know.

Stefan
