Legacy Button??

A friend of mine has just got a My95 Legacy Auto estate import twin turbo 260bhp hes looked through his manual but cant find this
button anywhere. The button is square in shape and located in front of the gear stick on the centre consol anyone got any ideas?

Me, me, I know!

It's so you can move the gearstick with the engine off, press it and the stick will move.

Any idea why it has a demist switch on the dash and next to the Snow button???

Just paid a deposit on an exact same import model. Is your mate also from the Bournemouth area 'cus he probably bought the one I was going to look at? Whilst the sales guy was showing me around he demonstrated the button. It can be used when the engine is running or not, but is basically to stop kids, etc. from knocking the automatic shifter into drive and the car rolling off, whilst your not sat in it...

Had my Leggy Gt for 4 months now, love everything about it apart from the fuel consumption!!

How long til we get a Leggy only board?!?!
