Hi. I have a two terminal sensor and two wires (brown/black and black) to plug into it. Problem is I cant work out which wire goes where. The instructions suggest the black wire (earth) can be determined by checking continuity with the metal body of the sensor. But when I check the resistance between each terminal and the sensor body in turn with my multimeter I get infinite resistance on both even at the higher ohmic scales.
Am I being incredibly thick or something or could it be that the sensor is faulty? Why doesnt the installation guide tell you which wire goes where or even better the sensor have markings on it!!.
Can anyone remember which wire goes where on the sensor?. Or has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.
