I want to change the OEM gearknob in my MY03 WRX for a Momo air/leather, how easy is it to swap over and anyone know who has the best price on buying one?

Thanks,

Andy.

well the standard items unscrews so that's easy enough to remove.

Momo ***** start at £30 and go all the way up to over £50. The nicer ones cost between £45 and £55.

They are supplied with numerous 'lugs' that you put inside the **** allowing a tight fit around the actual gear stick. You'll need to try them to make sure you get the best fit. Do this before inserting it into the ****.

Then using the allen key provide tighten the small allen nuts up holding the **** in place.

IMHO I would also send a further £15 and get the richbrook chrome shaft cover which screws onto the bottom of the gear **** and sits ontop of the gear gaiter. But that's just me........

Hope that helps ;-)
