Got the older style dash and couldn't see anywhere obvious to put it. Didn't fancy butchering any of the dash so, just for now, I put it here:

The dash fascia seems to hold it firmly in place as the wire is quite rigid, and it's pointing right at me. Would rather have it directly in front of me though so will probably move it up near the dials at a later date. As you can see I have an AFR meter in the ashtray however that does not need to be in the line of sight - especially at night - if the inside of your car turns blue it means you are getting enough fuel!

Sorry, it's a NO from me.

Just to clarify, if you want the Knocklink on it's own, then it's £85 inc. VAT & Delivery from BR Development.

This is for people who are definitely going for the group buy and tell me which products your going for

I will then contact BR Developments, let them know how many people there will be and then get you all to phone in with your credit card and address details

Edited to give the EXACT details BR Developments gave me:

KnockLink, sensor, connector £130 inc VAT and delivery (minimum 15 orders to qualify for the price)
KnockLink on its own - NOT AVAILABLE EXCEPT IN ONE CASE YOU MENTIONED WHEN IT COSTS £85 inc VAT and delivery
Lambda Link - £75 inc VAT and delivery ONLY WHEN ORDERED TOGETHER WITH THE KNOCKLINK package, otherwise £78 inc VAT and delivery (minimum 10 orders required to qualify for the pricing).

BTW - this is their writing in capitals and not mine

Does this sensor go on top of the existing original knock sensor?

If not where does it go?

I'm interested in one by the way

Maybe we should organise a group fit - lol

I could prob get 4 or 5 cars on my drive and have a comprehensive selection of tools, so any Kentish folk who aren't sure, we could all get together.

Would be excellent photo opportunity aswell.

Heres a link a found ealier

Dan - i hadnt seen that thread but its bloody good! The thing is i cant even get hold of tweenierob for my own goodies so not sure if he will be able to help us out (as you can see these boys want them now!)

bdolgu- when you ring them, tell them you want it sent to Sweden. The postage may be a bit more but they shouldnt charge you vat so it should work out the same if not a bit less.

Brun-It comes with a connector mate

vulnax999 - All instructions dhould be in there but any problems we can contact BR Developments

Lan Man - group fit sounds cool! Dont know if everyone could get to yours. Guess it depends where people live.

Right we have over 15 for the group buy so it looks like we are all go. Agreed?

I will ring BR Developments this afternoon and tell them so far who has signed up. I will then post an email up here (or try to all send you a group email again) and then you can ring up with delivery address details and card details.

This should get the ball rolling

Thanks for all your help m0ney.

I know what it can be like trying to do something for a group, you usually end up out of pocket or wishing you had never offered.

Looking forward to seeing the results, especially since my tek 2.5 has been boosting to 1.55, with 2 instances of fuel cut :O

As for the group fit, its just for anyone localish who has no tools/clue.
Although I am new to scoobs, for my sins I used to be a qualified mechanic.
