I've recently installed a HKS boost gauge into MY97 UK Turbo and was somewhat dissapointed when I took it out for a run and at maximum boost im only running 0.6 Bar, the car is only standard but my mate who also has an impreza seems to think that it should be running between 0.8 and 1.0 bar..

Any ideas???

it should be running what your m8 says, I reckon. Can you put the gauge in his and check it's calibration? ie if he knows how much boost he is running, and then your gauge reads the same in his car then you can assume it is reading right, and you are running a lack of boost. Then you could change the boost control restricor for one with a smaller hole, or you could tighten the wastegate actuator arm, or a combination of both.
And was that you on the Dover Rd last weekend???? I think it probably was!
