Blinding?
I'm planning to put an Autometer AFR in a pod at the base of the A-pillar. I'm just wondering how bright they are for night time driving. With it being just out of eyeline, will it be off putting?

Haven't actually had mine working at night yet but......
one thing I have done is build a small switch into the pod. This lets me turn it off when its not needed. The last thing you need when you are stuck in traffic on the motorway is a load of bloody LED's doing a knight rider impression. This may be the same at night when you aren't thrashing it.

Brun,
I've got the same as Dan's one, it's not too obtrusive at night at all, it's very readable, and does not blind you when you look at it.
Tho I do wish i'd spent the extra and bought the back lit one as it looks a little out of place next to my Defi's at night.
