How do the 3 gauges mount in the 3-gauge type center pods.
I have seen pictures which just show holes, but don't the gauges clamp onto something inside the pod.

The Gauges I have are 52mm and have a 2 bolt clamp on the back along with black o-ring just beind the gauge face. I would hope that it would fit tight enough for the o-ring to sit tight ?

Thumbs up

I wrapped tape round my Defi's to give them a secure tight fit in the holes

Is that the sort of fit you can expect when spending £600 - £800 on Defi's ?

Question

Scott,

More like £500. I have a Scoobymania pod which has no fixings for the gauges other than the holes drilled into it. Two of the holes are a good fit but one is just a bit too big, hence the tape wrapped round the gauges to 'pad' them out. The pod was drilled by Scoobymania and even they did not get it perfect. I don't know what other pods are like as I have only experienced the Scoobymania one which IMO is not very good.

Si.
