use the window fixer thingy and put it just to the left of the binnacle but not far enough over to rest on pod
I haven't got a pod but I do't think my RA encroaches on wher pod would go
just wait 'til you try to fit the laser attachment on as well

i presume u r meaning u have a centre dash pod thingamy, i dont but i have a detector stuck in centre of my window so i just used window mount in the drivers side corner of window with bottom of thing on the bit of dashboard that is right by the window & also the end of the plastic touches the edge of the bit of the dash board where all yer main dials r (u no speedo etc i no all da terms ) works absolutely fine so no worry about the a frame blocking etc if thats wot u were thinking & if u mean u have a A frame pod mount already then u may b stuffed although still seems liek plenty of room 4 that on mine if i ever got 1

you could get a longer power cable, mount it in rear window and watch it via rear view mirror...
I'll get me coat...
