Hey i was wondering if it was possible to take off the clothing that is on my seats in a MY00 Impreza GT and put a new skin on that thingy?
Also would it be possible to swap just the skin from MY99-00 STi

Thanks

Simon

Try to unzip the hole in the head rests and see if you can take it off from there. Not sure about the bottoms. In fact, I'm not sure if this will work at all, but I'm interested in finding out!

I asked the same question on bbs about a year ago and noone ever responded so I assumed it wasnt possible and I certainly wasnt just going to find out!!!

Anyways I think I read only recently that Prodrive do an interior pack which includes 2 front recaro's or recaro type material which they can also put on the back seats and door material so it all matches up. With this you get the Prodrive floor mats and gear lever thing which looks quite cool.

Not sure what this package costs cos my local Subaru dealer doesnt have a price list for Prodrive accessories, the Prodrive website doesnt have prices and just points you to Subaru.co.uk and then on Subaru.co.uk only has prices for MY01+ accessories so all in all its not very helpfull.

Anyone know where to get a Prodrive price list and brochure from even Rpodrive themselves said contact my local dealer!!!!

Sorry for using your thread as a moan, I hope you get fixed up or have more joy than I did.

Simon,
I though my seats were worn, and then I cleaned them properly, wow, what a difference, I can only assume that the dust I carried from work was getting through the fabric and didn't come out with a vacuum, I used a shampoo and the result was truly amazing, one guy I know even had a new cover on order, but after he cleaned it he didn't need the new one.
Give it a go!
Ron.

The last owner of my My00 had a bloody great velcro patch on his belt and managed to ruin the back of my seat. I could do with a good fix too.

I wouldn't expect the Prodrive option to be cheap.

Wink

if he had a velcro belt the worn seat is the least of your worries, the car could have been used as a fetish orgy centre
