I know I have asked this before in another thread and a number of you suggested Autostyle.

I have gone off the idea of these and no am looking at the Subaru mats themselves. I have seen them in the brochure and they look pretty nice and decent quality.

I have to choose between the standard Impreza mats (described as Deluxe carpet mats) or the WRX ones.

Having not seen these in the flesh, what do you recommend? Or am I making totally the wrong decision?

Finally, I am buying these mats and another couple of bits from my dealer. Comes to about 100 quid. Should I ask for a discount or should I expect to pay full whack (bearing in mind i didnt buy the car from them).

Cheers

The car I test drove last week had the WRX mats. I noticed them when I was in the car and they looked nice, but I must admit I didn't inspect them closely. Sorry if that's no use!

In my 03 wrx test drive car it had the wrx mats fitted, and this helped me choose the autostyle mats, as the wrx mats are incredibly thin, and a grey green sort of colour, They didnt look very swish for the £50 they cost. were the autostyle mats on the over hand are very good quality soft to touch yet think and very robust IMHO.

If you dont like the autostyle mats you can have them sent back.

I havent seen the deluxe mats so cant comment, they are cheaper so dont expect much.

i saw some different photos of the blue autostyle mats and went right off them for some reason.

i like the "understated" look of the original Subaru ones, and dont mind replacing them every year or so if they wear thin.

maybe i'll pop into the dealer and hope they have some available for me to take a look at.

then dont buy the blue ones. you can have any colour you want. i went for black with a silver leather trim. evo sport heel plate and subaru logo.

the blue picture is just an example of what they can do and how well they fit.

I went for diplomat range. check here
