I`m thinking of putting a brushed aluminium dash kit in and was wondering if anyone out there have had any problems with them peeling off when they get warm.

 

Dont do it, I bought one of these and they are a pain to put on and they do peel. I decided to only put the outer vent surrounds on as it all looked tacky.
Just take the dash apart and spray it, it is well worth the time and effort..Look for a thread concerning interior spraying lots of us have done it so you wont be short of advise.

Nick I`ve found the thread and yours and cells motors look the dogs only thing is i`ve got one of the dreaded MY97, was it a real bitch to do? The thing is i`ve colour coded 205`s before but i had a haynes manual to show me how to dismantle it,this is my first scoob and haven`t got a clue where all the fixtures are,any pointers would be marvellous.

its just the centre vent surround, it was trial and error with me, you just need the right tool to reach the 2 screws behind the face as you wont be able to pull it out far enough, its a pain but not hard with the right gear.
