Hi All

Does anyone know how to remove the gearknob. I can unscrew the **** but it is held down by the gaiter and I cant see how to remove the gaiter ??

I also have some OZ 17" wheels on my 2000 scooby in graphite. I want to get them painted gold. Can anyone suggest where I can get this done and how much ???

Thanks

Rex

Cool

Re the gear ****.....Just slide a screw driver "carefully" between the gaitor and the gear **** and gently prize it off. There may be an easier way,but it worked for me.

There is a little notch in the gear **** that if turned into the coresponding notch on the gaiter will just pop out.

If you can't find it just pull and again it'll pop out.

Thanks everyone

The screwdriver did the trick. I now have a Momo Polished spherical gear ****. It looks great.

You should have a nice branding on your hand when it's been parked up in the sun for a while

Any wheel suplier should be able to referb the alloys for around £50 a wheel. Just pop in and ask the Kwick fits, halfords, A.T.S's ect where they send their wheels for refurbing.
