Any scooby netters willing to share some info on these?

I am thinking about buying a Sports VSD but I read on the defi site that it does not display speed in MPH, is this true? Reason I ask is because I have seen the VSD 2 ads and it can display both KpH and MpH, wot's the crack there then? Also, how easy are they to install, do you need to be a sparky god to get it in with no swearing?
Any links to previous install thread would be great if there are any (I have searched on it but not cme up with much).

Cheers for the help.

Hi,

Thats right the Sports VSD doesn't do MPH, but the standard VSD2 does...

As for installation, nope you don't need to be a sparky, but you do need to know the what wire is what behind you speedo panel.

If you get the VSD from http://www.nitosport.co.uk/ I'm sure they will supply the information if you ask nicely.

Hope this helps, Alex

Thumbs up

We had the Sports VSD and the boost/timer VSD supplied and fitted by Nitosport.

The Sports VSD does display kph but because its an import car the display is actually showing the true Mph but with Kph displayed!
I hope that makes sense!

The VSD II will show Mph or Kph. If your cars an import go for the sports VSD it looks much better!!

Nitosport, thanks for fitting everything and for running us into town for a spot of shopping!! Would have said thanks sooner but i had a bike accident and managed to shatter left arm and shoulder!!
Keep up the good work and I'm sure we'll speak soon re that exhaust!!!

Hi,
More information can be found on the Defi V.S.D series on a new
version of Nitosports site HERE that is currently under development.
